Last week the Exmouth Chamber of Commerce inched its way closer to solving the number one problem for our members, worker housing.

On Wednesday the 8th of December the McGowan Government finally reached a milestone in its election commitment to address our workforce accommodation shortage.

Over the last 6 months, the ECCI Team has been actively lobbying and advocating for a solution to this problem on behalf of its members. After many meetings and conversations with ministerial officials and government bodies, we can now let you all know that the State Government is now officially accepting Registrations of Interest (ROI).

The site proposed for release under this ROI opportunity is described as Lot 1423 and a portion of Lot 1419, totalling approximately 5.9 hectares, subject to survey.

The ECCI hopes to assist with attracting registration of interest from developers, ensuring a construction commitment and agreement is reached with the State Government ASAP.
